A Message from the Founder
Sometimes, our unfortunate realities birth fortunate triumphs.
Over ten years ago, I felt a very heavy call and conviction that led me to make one of the most transformative decisions of my life: I changed my name.
Many cultures place immense importance on the selection of a child’s name, often aligning it with purpose, legacy, and service. For me, I had never felt a connection to or a sense of purpose associated with my birth name. It almost seemed as though I had been called out of my name my entire life.
There was, however, one significant connection to my birth name: it was the same as my father’s. Yet, he chose not to be a part of my life. But sometimes, our unfortunate realities birth fortunate triumphs.
Fast forward through the highs and lows of my journey, and I was led to the name: YOSIAH LA’EL. YOSIAH means God saves. God heals. LA’EL means Belonging to God. Of God.
Together, the name represents to me: “WE SAVE LIVES BY BECOMING ONE.” With God representing “We” as a collective, this meaning became deeply rooted in who I am and what I am called to build.
YOSIAH LA’EL is a mission-led organization designed to heal, save, unite, and create a sense of belonging. We exist to fulfill the needs of our local communities while helping to solve the challenges of our global community. And throughout everything we do, we maintain one standard: GO BEYOND.
Our philosophy, Life is ART. Life is LUXURY., represents a dual perspective.
LIFE IS ART. Our lives, our journeys, and our experiences, both good and bad, come together to create a beautiful work of art: YOU. Life is also an ode to existence, creation, and the way we experience and interpret the world around us. In its entirety, life itself is the greatest work of art.
LIFE IS LUXURY. The opportunity and gift to experience life in this form is one of the ultimate luxuries. But true luxury extends beyond material things. True luxury is sharing this life of art with the people we love. It is building community, sharing our culture, serving others, creating meaningful connections, promoting purpose, inspiring creativity, and, most importantly, cultivating unity.
This is more than a name.
It is a calling.
